MOSAIC 

Mosaic provides a loving, supportive and authentic community that encourage families along their adoption journey.  
It has been our experience that communities such as ours are a unique resource at each stage in the adoption or foster process, and are particularly valuable to families during the difficult times. For those families we offer our prayers, our love and support, our friendship and the collective wisdom and insight of those who have already successfully navigated similar paths.

THE NEED

There are approximately 143 million orphans world wide living in varying degrees of hopelessness without anyone to love, protect, or care for them.

  • Adoption costs of $20-$30K seems “financially impossible” for many families to consider.
  • Thousands of children remain in orphanages or are adopted by unbelieving families when the church should be the ones to look after the orphans.

OUR ROLE

God has commanded His people to care for those
in need.
  • When a family in a local body of believers obeys the command to care for orphans, that family will face a significant financial challenge. The church can share in the blessing by helping to support the adoption.
  • To train, answer questions, raise awareness and resource families interested in adoption or foster care.
  • To provide fellowship and support for people in every role of adoption and foster care.

YOUR TURN

  Give

  • You can make contributions to the Mosaic Adoption Fund.  This money will be used for matching grants to supplement what a family raises themselves.

  Go

  • Mosaic will be working with Buckner International to offer mission trip opportunities for you to go and impact the lives of orphan children around the world.

  Serve

  • Mosaic will be coordinating workshops, small groups, and training to help raise awareness and knowledge for orphan and foster care.
    All of these take work, time, and commitment. We could use the help!

  Foster

  • There are many children right here in Tarrant County who have been removed from their homes for the child’s own safety.  These children need a safe, loving home while their families try and get their lives back on track.

   Adopt

  • Mosaic will help you get this process started if you feel the Lord calling you to be a blessing to a child.
